I can’t believe so much time has passed since I last wrote. I apologize. So much has been going on, time just got away from me.

Last time, I asked if anyone knew where the Schultz twins were and I found them in L.A. (thanks to cool fan Sue Chantry) and will make contact soon. I also asked if anyone knew where to find former child actor Flip Mark who is in a birthday party picture on the first page of Recollections and guess who I heard from? Flip himself! He’s in Arizona working as a 911 operator and he loves it. Everyday, he gets to help someone.

Work on my autobiography continues. I’ve had great talks with Tommy Rettig’s sons: Tom, Jr. and Deane. What great guys. I plan to put photos of them up soon, I promise! We’ve interviewed almost everyone now, just a few more to track down. And you guys have sent in great stories about meeting me at Tweetsie Railroad, the Rose Parade, the Indy 500.

And speaking of the Indy, I got to go back this year! What a blast. Laurie and I spent four days as the guests of the Mi-Jack Corporation who had a car in the race. Their suite at the track was decorated as a 1950s diner. It was fantastic. And they invited several TV stars from the ‘50s to be part of the event. I’ve got some pictures of the gang on a new RECOLLECTIONS page. Check it out. See if you recognize the old gang. We all got a private tour of the Indy Hall of Fame Museum and the curator found a great photo of me in the Indy Parade from 1962. That’s there too. Also on that page are some snapshots my parents found recently that Laurie says are guaranteed to put a smile on the face of every teenage girl who read about me in 16 Magazine.

We traveled so much this year. I am happily looking forward to summer at home and my annual family camping trip in August. Then our travels begin again. In September, I’ll be in Dallas at an SPCA fund-raiser. In October, Laurie and I will be in Gaithersburg, MD for a show and in E. Rutherford, NJ for Chiller Theatre with my TV mom June Lockhart. In November, I’ll be in Detroit and on Holland America’s ‘50s sock hop cruise of the Caribbean with “Courtship of Eddie’s Father” star Brandon Cruz. Check my Personal Appearances page for details.

Maybe some of you saw June Lockhart and me on “EXTRA!” in May for Mother’s Day. And sometime over the summer, I’ll be on “To Tell the Truth” and “Entertainment Tonight”. If you leave your e-mail address in my Guestbook, I’ll let you know when I’m on TV or in your “hood.”
