Hey Friends,

Hope this finds you well. And except for a few aches and pains that come with age, life is good for me and my family. I have to say that being a grandfather – G-Pa – is everything they say and more. Juliana will be three this month and I am crazy about her…having a blast.

I am still doing autograph shows/comic cons. In October, I’ll be in Virginia for “Happy Trails.” I am not often in that neck of the woods, so I hope my East Coast friends and fans will turn out to see me and my friends there. It’s going to be fun. Check my Appearances page for details about it and other shows.

My summer was wonderful…but we did suffer a terrible loss. Our little dog, Buddy…he ate something he shouldn’t have and we lost him. It’s been a month and we are still heartbroken. Bud was our first rescue. He’d been mistreated and we really had to teach him all about love. We had to work hard for his love. It was not unconditional. But boy, he learned. He loved us very much and we couldn’t have loved him more. I guess that’s why this one is a little tougher…We’ll rescue again when we’re ready.
