A
PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM JON
Spring is in the air! I spent the winter very quietly so I am looking to kick up a little dust – starting with “dusting off” a project I started last year and well, one thing led to another. I know I have talked about my cookbook: TIMMY’S IN THE KITCHEN. And many of you sent recipes which I have and am going through now. This is the year of the cookbook! Seems all this writing has suddenly earned me a literacy award. As many of you know, I’m dyslexic so I am doubly flattered by this. In April, I’ll receive the Ella Dickey Literacy Award at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, Missouri. That’s just a little more than 3 hours outside of St. Louis, my wife’s hometown. So Laurie and I plan to visit her mom in St. Louis and we’ll all three head down to Marshfield! It’s Laura Ingalls Wilder country and should be a beautiful drive that time of year. Our good friend Morgan Brittany is also being honored there that weekend. It’ll be a great time. If you’re in the neighborhood, check it out: www.cherryblossomfest.com My pet product line The Vintage Dog survived its first
year. If you haven’t checked out our all-natural grooming and
first aid products, visit our site: www.thevintagedog.com I’ve got more news…but best to keep it under wraps for now. Meantime, I’m grateful for my health, my beautiful family and my good fortune. Just like George Bailey, I’m “the richest man in town!” All the best,
